Job Summary: The Associate Director of Financial Institutions plays a key role in driving strategic initiatives and daily operations that support the growth andneeds of financial professionals, working in financial institutions. This role focuses on providing proactive, high-touch service and consulting to clients navigating business development and ongoing relationships within financial institutions. The Associate Director handles all facets of operations while bringing a high degree of energy to the role. This position also fosters deep relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and banking-centric FPs, to promote the long-term development of financial practices within institutions. This individual also collaborates with senior leadership on departmental vision and strategic planning, contributes to the evaluation and implementation of current strategy, and monitors competitive industry trends. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, business acumen, and an understanding ofbanking trends in the financial services industry , along with a commitment to continuous improvement in client service and operational excellence.

Essential Duties The Financial Institutions team works with financial professionals who wish to grow their business through an arrangement with a bank or credit union.
In this role you will:
Proactively seek new or expanded business relationships with FI clients and provide resources in support of growth and development of client's financial practices
Develop direct relationships with bank and credit union leadership and key personnel, to prospect and service Financial Institutions, assisting them with the development of wealth services within their institution.
Develop relationships with key internal and external business partners to foster strong business relationships and develop FPs & FIs financial practice through the planning, tracking and monitoring of revenue growth targets.
Travel is needed (up to 50%) to attend conferences, meet with partners, and support institutional growth efforts.
Participate in the development of strategic planning of the department.
Coordinate across departments to establish and enhance operational workflows supporting new and existing financial institution relationships.
Ensure operational support and resources are effectively provided to affiliated financial institutions and their professionals.
Recommend and implement best practices for onboarding new financial institution relationships, including facilitation of contract negotiations.
Support leadership in business development efforts by managing logistics for conferences, events, and stakeholder communications.
Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to propose new products, services, or strategic partnerships that align with business goals.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and FI clients to establish and update functional Strategic Plans for our FPs and for our FIs.
Evaluate third-party service providers and trade associations to identify opportunities for improving internal processes or expanding capabilities.
Education & Experience The ideal candidate would possess an intermediate level of experience, typically around 5+ years of experience in relationship management, business development, operations, or a related field within the financial industry. A FINRA Series 7 license will be required within 6 months, if not already licensed.
Compensation: $75,000-$100,000. This range is a good faith estimate of the compensation to be offered for this position based on the ideal candidates qualifications, the Companys operational needs, and other considerations permitted by law. The actual pay offered to a specific candidate may vary above or below the stated range.
