About You: As an Associate Director of Advanced AI Software Engineering, you will spearhead the development and deployment of cutting-edge AI models and systems that tackle complex real-world challenges and foster business innovation. Your role involves translating intricate research into scalable and practical solutions while ensuring seamless integration of AI technologies into our diverse range of products and services.
Your Responsibilities:
Development & Implementation: Create and deploy state-of-the-art AI models and systems, utilizing the latest research advancements to deliver production-ready and efficient solutions.
Deployment & Integration: Ensure AI models are effectively integrated into production environments and collaborate with engineering teams to overcome technical challenges.
Collaboration & Communication: Work alongside cross-functional teams to align AI solutions with business goals while providing expert guidance and support.
Research & Innovation: Stay ahead of trends in AI research, applying new technologies to enhance our systems and contributing to our innovation pipeline.
This role may involve travel to meet client needs, with variable travel requirements.
Location: This position is based at our Generative AI Center of Excellence located in Mountain View, CA.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 12 years of work experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
At least 10 years of experience in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
Minimum of 7 years working with machine learning tools (such as Pytorch, TensorFlow) and technologies including deep learning or natural language processing.
4+ years of experience in technical team management or mentoring.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of experience with programming languages.
8+ years working in machine learning frameworks.
5+ years in conducting relevant research.
Master's or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
