Asthe Associate Director of Administrative Services, youwill manage overall operations and personnel for bookstore, mail operations,print operations, and the campus art collection. You will oversee Bookstoreoperations, including merchandise sales/pricing, the execution of the textbookcycle (including course materials and book adoptions, inclusive accessprograms, orders and returns, shipping and receiving, inventory levels, etc.),and the Bookstore POS system.
The Associate Director of AdministrativeServices will direct and oversee campus Mail Processing and Distribution Center;coordinate assignments and priorities; direct and oversee the Institute mail,package distribution process, and outgoing mail/package processing, includingprocess design, software selection and implementation, and related vendorrelationships. You will manage campus mailings and USPS accounts to meetindividual departmental schedules and demands through efficient andcost-effective methods of handling mail and mail-piece design; act as liaisonbetween campus departments and external vendors on mail processing needs; overseethe departmental monthly billing for all outgoing mail, packages and 3rd party mail billing; oversee the USPSTrust and Pitney Bowes Trust to ensure adequate funds are available for campusmailings.
Additionally, the Associate Director of Administrative Services willdirect and oversee the Print Shop functions. As part of this, you will workwith print/copy vendors to ensure the Institute's requirements for theadministrative copier program are fulfilled, including contract needs,maintenance coordination, and toner refills as required; oversee the monthlybilling for all on campus print charges is complete.
The Associate Director ofAdministrative Services will direct and oversee the Art Curator andpolicies and procedures of displaying visiting artists' works, budget, andcurrent institute art pieces.
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor'sdegree in general business and five years of business or operations experience.Must have experience in budget management, general sales, and supervisingstaff. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, andAdobe products is required. Must be self-motivated, have effective timemanagement skills, efficient organizational skills, and the ability to makesound decisions. A strong customer service orientation is essential.
Preferred candidates will have eight years ofbusiness or operations experience, experience in higher education, and familiaritywith bookstore operations. A working knowledge of Point-of-Sale and shippingsoftware, electronic cash registers and related peripherals is preferred. Theability to effectively present information and governmental regulations isdesired.

Salary range is $58,000 - $72,000. Salary is competitive.A higher salary may be negotiated based on experience and qualifications.
