Overview Associate Director Network Pricing - Remote at Optum . This is an intermediate analytics role within OptumRx, focusing on network pricing, cost management, and client performance analysis. The role offers remote work from anywhere in the U.S. and opportunities to collaborate with data science and network pricing teams, as well as with Underwriting, Legal, Account Management, Operations, and Clinical departments. Primary Responsibilities Lead and perform financial analysis and modeling related to setting prescription drug prices and managing client and pharmacy financial performance Concisely summarize and communicate statistical findings to internal and external stakeholders Set team direction, resolve issues, and provide guidance to team members Adapt departmental plans to address business and operational challenges Collaborate with data scientists and business stakeholders to implement end-to-end models, including data ingestion, preparation, analysis, modeling, performance tracking, and documentation Identify potential areas for cost improvements and pricing strategy opportunities Influence senior leadership to adopt pricing recommendations and new ideas Weekly communication and consultation with clients Translate complex concepts for varied audiences and secure buy-in for recommendations Support development of strategic initiatives to reduce total cost of care Anticipate customer needs and develop innovative solutions Partner with departments including Underwriting, Legal, Operations, Clinical, and Account Management to oversee client performance management Required Qualifications 9+ years of analytical experience in financial analysis, healthcare pricing, network management, or related fields 7+ years of experience creating and using financial modeling tools and presenting results to inform decisions 3+ years of management experience Experience interacting with clients and internal leaders Advanced proficiency in financial impact analysis, risk management, and data manipulation Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Healthcare or PBM experience Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms Proficiency with Tableau or other data visualization tools SQL programming with ability to query across multiple tables Adherence to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy for remote employees Additional Information Pay is based on factors including location, education, experience, and certifications.
