Associate Director, Finance, US Parkinson's Join to apply for the Associate Director, Finance, US Parkinson's role at AbbVie The primary objective of this position is to provide financial leadership and business support for the Parkinson’s Disease franchise. The Associate Director leads and manages volume forecasts, financial planning and analysis, owns the brand P&L, supports strategic projects, and ensures accurate financial statements. The role directly supports the VP Commercial Parkinson’s and reports to the Senior Director Neuroscience & Eye Care. Key Responsibilities Strategic finance business partner for target functions – provide clear narratives, robust financials, and deliverables to Executive management. Own the full P&L and provide a big‑picture view. Develop models that accurately incorporate market dynamics and support volume forecasting scenarios. Drive Plan, LRP and LBEs, ensuring accurate integration of sales forecast, pricing and investment resourcing. Work closely with PCS on lifecycle management, portfolio reviews and launch preparation. Ensure adequate resourcing levels for new assets and indications. Interface with other finance functions – NEC consolidation, Co‑Pay, Patient support, Demand, and others. Coordinate supply chain topics, run ad‑hoc analysis for S&OP support. Provide analysis for ad‑hoc or business presentations, support quarterly earnings and companywide initiatives. Identify process and tool optimization opportunities within NEC and lead projects. Coach staff across SG&A and forecasting functions to sustain a high‑performing team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred. 7–10 years of progressive and related experience. Working knowledge of US GAAP, AbbVie accounting policies, and internal financial control framework (including SOX). Strong communication skills – relay complex financial data in clear terms. Strong leader – ownership, team building, goal alignment and accountability. Strong organizational skills – manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment. Self‑starter with initiative and an inquisitive mindset. Ability to generate ideas, challenge the status quo, solve problems and drive innovation. High proficiency with Excel & PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP, BPC and PowerBi preferred.
