Job Description

About the Role

We’re seeking an Associate Director of Finance & Partner Operations to help bridge the gap between branch-level operations and corporate leadership. This role combines financial support, documentation, and partner collaboration ensuring our branches have what they need to succeed while key priorities move forward without delay.

You’ll support the VP of Operations and branch partners by preparing reports, managing financial documentation, coordinating compliance, and keeping initiatives aligned. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role designed for someone who thrives on clarity, accuracy, and cross-functional problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Support: Assist with branch-level reporting, P&L questions, variance tracking, and monthly documentation for review.
  • Partner Operations: Serve as a central liaison between corporate operations and branch partners to ensure branch-level priorities are understood and supported.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain contracts, permits, lease renewals, vendor agreements, and compliance records.
  • Project Coordination: Support financial and operational initiatives by tracking deliverables, monitoring deadlines, and reporting progress to leadership.
  • Vendor & Contract Support: Assist with vendor communications, billing, renewals, and administrative follow-through.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare summary reports for the VP of Operations, surfacing issues, variances, and follow-up needs.
  • Process Improvements: Identify inefficiencies in financial/ops workflows and recommend ways to streamline.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5–8+ years in finance support, business administration, or operations. Distribution or multi-location business experience preferred.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong comfort with budgets, reporting, and reconciliations; highly detail-oriented with numbers.
  • Partner-Facing Skills: Ability to communicate with branch partners clearly and confidently, translating financial/operational needs into action.
  • Organizational Strength: Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and follow-through.
  • Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; ERP or project management software experience (Epicor, Monday.com) a plus.
  • Mindset: Proactive, dependable, and solutions-oriented; someone who thrives on making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Why Join Us

  • Blend Finance + Ops: A unique opportunity to use financial skills in a broader operational role.
  • High-Visibility: Work directly with senior leadership and branch partners across the business.
  • Growth Environment: Be part of a fast-growing distribution company where your role evolves as we scale.
  • Hybrid Flexibility: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote each week.
  • Competitive Compensation: $105,000–$125,000/year DOE plus full benefits.

If you have a strong financial support background and want to apply your skills in a role that’s both partner-facing and operations-focused, we’d love to talk.
