The Associate Director, Field Strategy in Nephrology/Immunology plays a vital role in enhancing sales execution by ensuring that field teams are equipped with the clarity, insights, and tools necessary to excel. This position focuses on aligning key metrics and insights with brand strategy, ensuring analytics dashboards and reporting tools yield actionable, field-relevant intelligence. The goal is to turn insights into action seamlessly.
Rather than developing new systems, this role orchestrates the effective use of existing resources, allowing field teams to concentrate on executing sales strategies flawlessly. The Associate Director ensures that field teams are informed and empowered to leverage all available tools, insights, and strategic initiatives for maximum impact.
This position provides strategic support across multiple regions, collaborating closely with sales leadership to gain a comprehensive understanding of performance trends and execution effectiveness. Moreover, the role works hand-in-hand with the Business Analysis team to ensure that field teams have access to actionable insights and a consistent reporting framework to facilitate informed decision-making at the national, regional, and territory levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Define & Measure Field Impact: Establish and monitor KPIs that align with brand strategy to assess the effectiveness of field teams in driving business outcomes.
Develop Frameworks: Create frameworks to evaluate the successful execution of strategic priorities by field teams.
Standardize Performance Tracking & Reporting: Implement standardized dashboards for consistent tracking of field performance across national and subnational levels while partnering with Commercial Operations to streamline reporting processes.
Drive Strategic Clarity and Field Engagement: Translate brand strategy into actionable field execution while ensuring alignment on broader commercial objectives.
Lead Business Review Framework: Own the business review process framework, ensuring a standardized approach to address strategic inquiries from senior leadership and develop engaging templates for decision-making.
Support Business & Account Planning: Facilitate the creation of effective business and account plans, holding key stakeholders accountable for execution and monitoring progress to optimize performance.
Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to the role.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Prior experience in field leadership roles or customer strategy positions is preferred.
Proven track record in data analysis, business intelligence, and strategic planning within a pharmaceutical sales context.
Exceptional ability to distill complex data into effective, actionable insights.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a knack for influencing and aligning across various teams.

Salary Range: Minimum $153,700.00 - Maximum $229,770.00, plus incentive opportunities. Actual pay will depend on job experience, skills, and internal comparisons.
