Associate Director, Field Medical Lead
The Associate Director, Field Medical Lead develops and implements strategic medical plans aligned with company objectives and regulatory requirements while building strong relationships with medical and scientific stakeholders and communicating complex information effectively. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing, Quality, and Clinical Affairs, to drive product enhancement, maintain compliance, and proactively share competitive and scientific insights to keep stakeholders informed.
Your role:
Builds and maintains professional relationships with medical and scientific experts, ensuring clear and effective communication of complex information to internal and external audiences.
Responds to clinical information needs and develops clinical materials for stakeholders, leveraging partnerships to enhance communication and deliver timely, accurate data.
Applies advanced analytical and conceptual thinking to resolve complex issues, proactively shares competitive intelligence and emerging trends, and supports stakeholder awareness.
Ensures compliance with medical affairs activities, including Investigator Initiated Research and off-label requests, while adhering to regulatory and company policies.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, and Clinical Affairs, to drive product advancement, ensure safety and performance, and support global publication plans through manuscript and presentation development.
You're the right fit if:
You’ve acquired 7+ years of experience in Medical/Clinical Affairs or equivalent in the medical device industry. Strong knowledge and experience working in the cardiovascular domain and with cardiovascular medical device products is required. Experience with operations and strategy in the medical affairs domain are preferred.
Your skills include deep knowledge of and experience with field medical roles in the medical device industry, strong understanding of the cardiovascular therapeutic area landscape, and a proven ability to influence and drive change, internally and externally.
You have an MD, PhD, or equivalent strongly preferred. Candidates with strong clinical nursing backgrounds and relevant device industry experience can be considered (BSN/MSN/NP).
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this .
You’re an excellent communicator with strong relationship building skills to develop a professional network to help shape and influence strategy in this space. This role requires up to 50% travel as required by business needs.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is a field-based role.

The pay range for this position in AZ, AR, ID, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MO, MT, NE, NM, OK, SC, SD, TN, UT, and WV are $122,906 to $196,650.
The pay range for this position in AL, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, MI, MN, NV, NH, NC, ND, OH, OR, PA, TX, VT, VA, WI, and WY are $129,375 to $207,000.
The pay range for this position in AK, DE, HI, MD, RI, and WA is $135,844 to $217,350.
The pay range for this position in CA, CT, MA, NJ, NY, DC, is $144,900 to $231,840.
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
