The position of Associate Director / Compliance is a valuable member of the Compliance Team who coordinates with the implementation and management of the university's comprehensive athletics compliance program, working directly with coaches, student-athletes, and administrators. This position reports to the Executive Associate AD / Compliance, and will be responsible for ensuring and monitoring compliance with NCAA, ACC, and Virginia Tech regulations for 22 Division I sports.
Required Qualifications
Master's and/or bachelor's degree with related experience in compliance operations.
Significant experience working with NCAA compliance regulations.
Proficiency with personal computer applications and comfortable with various computer programs (i.e. Microsoft Office, BANNER, CAi, and LSDBi).
Experience with Teamworks or similar software program.
Be able to work in a team environment and be a self-motivated staff member.
Must be able to travel occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the area of athletics compliance at an NCAA Division I "Power 4" institution or Division I institution providing Cost of Attendance.
Demonstrated experience working directly with football coaching staffs and operations personnel on NCAA compliance matters.
Experience with a broad range of NCAA Compliance Bylaws.
