Base pay range $250,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Ambition Associate Director - Legal Marketing, BD & Communications Recruitment - US Ambition are working with an established US law firm to recruit a BD professional to lead their Litigation function, this role will report into the firms BD leadership team and will have the support of a team based in New York and DC. The firm is keen to engage the best talent for this role and as such are open to the idea of this role being at senior management level with a pathway towards Associate Director or someone coming in at Associate Director from the start. The firm is equally open to this being in New York or Washington, whilst there won’t be extensive travel a couple of trips a month to the corresponding location will be required to ensure partner facetime across the group. Key duties within the role: Work with the firms Marketing and Business Development leadership to develop the BD plan for the US litigation group, this will include management and implementation for the BD budget. Be able to lead the existing team of junior staff, taking a interest in aiding their professional development and guiding on best practice for the team to effectively support the attorneys. In tandem with the partnership, help with the client development piece, looking at ways to maximize revenue with existing clients and keeping up to date with the market to provide potential new business for the firm. Be a leader within the broader marketing function, helping to advise and guide the firms overall marketing and business development strategy, working with the c-suite team and firm leadership. Help to coach the attorneys on business development efforts, working with specific groups of partners and individuals to help raise their profile and reputation. Given this role will be leading the litigation team for the firm, we would be looking to engage talent who have prior experience of operating within a litigation function at a law firm previously.
