Bachelors degree and three (3) years of sports information, communications, or other relevant experience in collegiate athletics.
Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.

Work Schedule
Monday Friday
8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Will require work beyond normal schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. May require travel as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel; and talk or hear. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively with the departmental team as well as external stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies including members of the media, general public, and university administrators, faculty, staff and students. Ability to use independent judgment and to gather, manage and impart information to the media and various other internal and external audiences. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Ability to foster a cooperative work environment. Possess media relations skills. Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance. Knowledge of sporting press box procedures, techniques, facilities, and equipment. Ability to utilize Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.).
