Job title Associate Director - Annual Fund & Events Department Development Reports to Senior Director of Development Classification Full-time, Exempt Pay Range 80k-90k Summary Goodman Jewish Family Services (Goodman JFS) is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Associate Director of Annual Fund & Events to lead the agency’s annual giving program and fundraising events. This role focuses on individual giving, donor acquisition and retention, and high-impact fundraising events. The Associate Director will manage multi-channel annual fund campaigns (direct mail, email, and digital), secure sponsorships and revenue for key events, and oversee the Donor Relations Specialist, who handles CRM management and gift processing. This is a key leadership role on the development team with the opportunity to grow philanthropic impact while fostering meaningful donor relationships. Responsibilities Annual Fund Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement an integrated annual fund strategy focused on donor acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. Plan and execute direct mail, email, and digital giving campaigns in collaboration with the marketing team. Analyze donor trends and giving behaviors to inform segmentation and targeted outreach. Maintain a donor-centered stewardship program, including acknowledgments and impact reporting. Event Fundraising & Management: Lead the planning, fundraising, and execution of all major events, including Breaking the Silence, Building Resilience and Feed the Need. Drive event revenue through corporate sponsorships, major donor engagement, and community partnerships. Coordinate with vendors, internal departments, and event committees to ensure seamless logistics and strong donor experience. Support leadership in creating compelling event messaging and program content. Team Supervision & Donor Operations: Supervise the Donor Relations Specialist, ensuring accurate CRM data, timely gift processing, and high-quality donor acknowledgments. Collaborate with the finance department to ensure reconciliation and reporting accuracy. Oversee development-related data reporting and list management for solicitations and events. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in fundraising, annual giving, and/or event planning, preferably in a nonprofit setting. Demonstrated success in managing fundraising campaigns and donor events. Experience supervising staff and managing donor databases; Donor Perfect experience preferred. Strong communication, project management, and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with an ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Familiarity with the Jewish community or social service sector is a plus. Work Environment Full-time, in-person position based in Davie, FL. Occasional evenings and weekends are required for events and deadlines.
