Responsibilities : The Medical Lead is responsible for:
Lead the development of key medical messages for assigned products and assure that they guide all scientific communications (e.g., slide presentations and training materials)
Participate in review of, and in some cases creation of, non-promotional medical materials
Align with other TA Medical Leads to generate specific objectives, strategies, and tactics for the scientific engagement with select external stakeholders
Support Medical Affairs (MA) planning and execution of scientific congresses to ensure effective alignment and congress management, coverage and reporting as needed
Contribute to the development and execution of US strategic medical plans for ACP that are aligned with global Medical Affairs Plan where applicable
Participate as needed in cross-functional product/TA teams
Primary MAUS representative on MAP team for review of commercial promotional material
Support and/or lead the content development of all material for MSL including uploading, review and approval via appropriate systems
Support communication between the MSL team and the HQ team continuing to look for opportunities to strengthen alignment and communication.
Support training and/or training content for Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and sales representatives as required
Provide operational planning/execution support of MA advisory boards to understand and shape medical strategies as needed
Align with peer leaders in the Commercial organization and cross-functional teams, providing strategic medical direction to support the needs of the business
Requirements Qualifications
Required:
Doctoral degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD, DO)
Minimum 3 years academic, clinical experience and/or industry experience following
Proven ability to effectively collaborate and negotiate through a matrix organization
Ability to communicate effectively, including scientific concepts, both in writing and in oral presentations
Fluent in written and verbal English
Approximately 20% travel required
Preferred:
Minimum 2 years Medical Affairs relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry
Medically Qualified with post graduate qualification and specialization in appropriate therapeutic specialty preferred
Medical Affairs and/or MSL experience is strongly preferred
Therapeutic area experience

Salary Range: $141,400 -$202,000 (NOTE: Final salary could be more or less, based on experience)
