Overview Associate Creative Director, Copy (Social) at VML. This role focuses on concepting, writing, and producing short-form copy for social and digital platforms, including TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Responsibilities Proven hands-on experience with concepting, writing, and producing copy across social and digital platforms, specifically short-form, high-impact content for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Strong conceptual abilities, storytelling skills, and a deep knowledge of the digital and social landscape. Present ideas to clients, articulating how concepts address client challenges. Inspire clients and team members with fresh, engaging language and creative ideas. Collaborate as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment. Act as a "maker" by actively writing scripts, captions, headlines, and content in addition to leading teams. Familiarity with and strong interest in the technology sector. Build a portfolio showcasing a strong "maker" sensibility and diverse social media content, particularly short-form video and motion graphics. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or Advertising emphasis preferred. Seven-plus years of experience in an agency setting (or in-house social team with high-volume output). Salary and Benefits The base salary range for this position at the time of posting is $75,000 USD - $180,000 USD.
