As the Associate Clinical Operations Director, you will directly oversee and train Clinical Directors in your assigned market. You will have a key role in achieving center performance objectives, P&L accountability, market growth, and fostering a thriving organizational culture. This role also includes direct patient care responsibilities as a Primary Care Physician alongside leadership duties. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the Medical Directors in multiple centers, ensuring clinical outcomes and daily operations align with organizational goals. Drive successful clinical operations to meet and exceed market earnings plans. Mentor and coach Medical Directors to achieve excellent clinical results. Lead the development of PCPs and NPs, ensuring effective training and performance management. Promote a positive physician culture aligned with ChenMed's core values and service standards. Assist in training new practitioners within your centers. Participate in the recruitment of PCP and specialist candidates. Build strong relationships with payers, specialists, and community organizations to enhance service delivery. Oversee center-level referrals and provide support in utilization authorizations. Additional Duties: Support the Regional President in quality improvement initiatives. Conduct monthly scorecard reviews alongside Clinical Leadership for clinical metrics analysis. Train team members from other ChenMed locations as needed. Strengthen relationships with key market stakeholders. Implement effective cost reduction and clinical strategies. Provide outstanding clinical care to your patient panel (20% of your time). Qualifications: MD or DO with a focus in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a similar specialty. A minimum of 2 years clinical experience; 3 years preferred. Preferred experience as a Medical Director or similar role with a Medicare or Medicaid population. Board eligibility is required; board certification preferred. Current medical license in your state. Proven track record of clinical leadership and high performance. Experience in population risk management or chronic disease care management preferred. Familiarity with interdisciplinary teams and quality improvement initiatives.
