Join Securitas as a Assistant Retail Security Director and take charge of daily operations, security strategy, and personnel management to create a safe and welcoming environment for all.
In this role, you will oversee a team of Security Officers and Leads, ensuring exceptional service, compliance, and safety throughout the property. This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
Shift: Friday-Tuesday 1pm-9pm (Sunday is 10am-6pm)
Salary: $56,160/yearly
Key Responsibilities: Supervise Security Officers and Lead Officers at the site; ensure proper execution of post orders and patrol duties Conduct regular inspections of posts and personnel; coach and discipline team members as needed Provide on-site training and onboarding for new officers; ensure all personnel understand their duties and expectations Coordinate schedules and ensure proper staffing coverage across all shifts Submit payroll and personnel data in a timely and accurate manner Monitor surveillance systems, respond to incidents and emergencies, and communicate with local authorities and management Maintain high visibility and foster a strong security presence to deter criminal activity Meet regularly with client representatives to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns Complete and review incident reports, logs, and operational updates Serve as the liaison between the client, Securitas branch leadership, and security staff May perform security officer duties when necessary to support team coverage
Qualifications: Prior experience in security operations supervisory experience Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills Strong organizational and reporting abilities Familiarity with video surveillance and access control systems Valid Driver's License and ability to meet company driving standards Proficient in basic computer applications and report writing Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
