As an Assistant Medical Director, you will play a critical role in fostering a culture of excellence in care. You will supervise and mentor Clinical Directors in your market while also providing high-quality patient care as a primary care physician (PCP). Your dual focus will enhance both patient outcomes and team performance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee clinical operations and ensure achievement of performance goals across multiple centers within your market. Mentor and support Clinical Directors to enhance clinical outcomes and team engagement. Drive talent development programs for PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors, including coaching and performance management. Nurture a positive physician culture aligned with ChenMed's core values and service standards. Participate in recruiting and training new practitioners. Develop relationships with community partners, payers, and hospitals to elevate care delivery. Monitor and improve market culture, attending promptly to workplace concerns. Engage in direct patient care as a PCP while managing administrative responsibilities. Required Qualifications: MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty. A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, with preference for candidates who have been in medical leadership roles. Board eligibility required; board certification in relevant specialties preferred. Strong leadership skills and experience in managed care delivery systems. Current active license to practice medicine. Compensation and Benefits: The salary range is $231,876 - $331,251.
