Assistant Director of Finance | $100K-$150K Location: Lakeland, FL | On-Site Initially, 1 Day Remote After 90 Days| Full-Time

A respected and expanding healthcare organization in the Lakeland area is seeking a strategic and analytical Assistant Director of Finance to join its finance leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the CFO and other senior leaders, with a focus on financial analysis, provider compensation, and P&L reporting. The ideal candidate will bring healthcare industry experience, strong technical skills, and a collaborative mindset to support a high-performing and evolving team.

Why You'll Love Working Here: Meaningful work in a mission-driven healthcare organization High visibility with executive leadership and cross-functional collaboration Competitive compensation package: $100K-$150K Comprehensive benefits including health and dental insurance, 401(k) with 4% match (100% vested from day one), PTO (21 days annually after 90 days), and an annual stipend for continuing education or professional development What You'll Do: Support monthly P&L reporting and provider compensation processes Respond to physician inquiries related to financial performance and reporting Perform cost center and drug margin analysis Calculate midlevel provider bonuses and assess accounts receivable and bad debt Assist with annual audits, budgeting, and ad hoc financial projects and forecasts Collaborate with the Assistant Controller and report directly to the Director of Finance Positively contribute to team culture and support change management during a period of restructuring What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration (required) CPA certification (required) 7-15 years of progressive finance or accounting experience Healthcare industry experience (required) Audit background strongly preferred Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs; macros a plus) Experience with Sage and Power BI is a plus Analytical mindset with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly and effectively Adaptable, collaborative, and positive approach to leadership and team dynamics
