Job Summary: The main responsibility of an Assistant Director is to oversee the daily operation of the assigned center. The Assistant Director is also responsible for helping the school director collect tuition, communicating with parents in various forms, holding the center's monthly meeting, and ensuring all state documents are completed. They are to focus on the overall brand image and enrollment. Other responsibilities include: making sure all rooms have complete paperwork, updating documents to assist the Director, managing extracurricular activities such as field trips, parent-teacher conferences, picture day, assisting with tours as needed, filing forms and accident reports, and tracking attendance.
Job Responsibilities: Staff-focused and Scheduling employee breaks. Complete relevant forms and paperwork. Manage extracurricular activities. Assist with tours. Keeping rooms up to date with correct bulletin boards. Tracking tuition and attendance. Identifies and prioritizes materials and equipment needed in classrooms and playgrounds, and coordinates with the operations director in completing inventory lists. Request and order the necessary supplies needed to run the center smoothly. Greet the parents daily in the morning drop-off and at the end of the day. Provides strong support to families in any aspect related to the school. Manage all incident reports, investigations, and notifications to parents and management. Communicate with families. Follow all state-required guidelines and maintain excellent records and documentation required by the state.
Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's Degree Required plus experience in a preschool or daycare environment (Prerequisite). Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Preferred). Must be a strong, communicative team player. Leadership and management skills required. Must be responsible, reliable, and flexible to work between the hours of 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position.
