Title: Assistant Director, Wet Utilities

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Wet Utilities to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our Wet Utility division. This role is critical to ensuring high productivity, quality workmanship, and efficient execution of utility projects in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong operational expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and excellence.

Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of Wet Utility crews and projects, including water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Supervise field teams, foremen, and subcontractors, providing guidance and support to maximize performance.
Monitor production metrics and implement strategies to improve efficiency and output.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, safety compliance, and quality control.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to coordinate schedules and resources.
Assist in planning and forecasting labor, equipment, and material needs.
Enforce company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Support the Director of Utilities in strategic planning and division growth initiatives.
Requirements: Field Ops Management Experience (5+ Years)
Project Execution & Production OVersight Experience
Technical Knowledge of Wet Utility Systems
Proven leadership experience in managing field ops and crews
Strong understanding of water, sewer, and stormwater systems and construction practices
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems
