Position Summary As the Assistant Director of Nursing (RN), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing multiple nursing neighborhoods while providing vital support to the Director of Nursing. Your expertise will serve as a resource to nursing staff on administrative programs and policies, fostering collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals. You will demonstrate strong leadership in performance, attitude, and compliance with policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Assist in management oversight of nursing neighborhoods. Actively promote a collaborative healthcare environment. Investigate incidents to recommend corrective actions. Enhance resident care by empowering staff with responsibilities and authority. Lead the infection prevention and control programs, including establishing systems for effective infection management. Oversee antibiotic stewardship and compliance with safety standards. Participate in quality assurance programs, including the facility's QAA Committee. Conduct training sessions on infection prevention for staff and families. Monitor and assess resident care and staffing needs. Maintain necessary documentation and records for compliance and quality care. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing school. Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent preferred. Current RN license for the respective state. Certification or training in infection prevention and control. 3-4 years of nursing experience with administrative and supervisory skills. 1 year of management experience preferred.
