Our Healthcare Facility in Henrietta, NY, is currently seeking a qualified Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team!

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) in overall management and maintaining high standards of care

• Conduct weekly Wound/Skin Rounds

• Ensure compliance and promote effective communication among all levels of nursing staff

• Address the nursing and medical needs of all residents

• Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation

• Coordinate and oversee planning of nursing services

• Maintain strong knowledge of nursing theory and best practices

• Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records

• Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff

• Manage daily staffing

• Monitor and enforce infection control practices

• Maintain scheduling flexibility to respond to changing facility needs

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a long-term care setting

• At least 2 years of management experience preferred

• 1 year of staff education experience preferred

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Flexible schedule availability
