Assistant Director of Finance | $100K-$150K

Location: Lakeland, FL | On-Site Initially, 1 Day Remote After 90 Days | Full-Time

A well-established and growing healthcare organization in the Lakeland area is seeking a strategic and analytical Assistant Director of Finance to join its finance leadership team. This role offers close collaboration with the CFO and senior leadership, with a focus on financial analysis, provider compensation, and P&L reporting. The ideal candidate will bring healthcare experience, strong technical skills, and a team-oriented mindset to support a high-performing and evolving department.

What You'll Do: Support monthly P&L reporting and provider compensation processes Address physician inquiries related to financial performance and reporting Conduct cost center and drug margin analysis Calculate midlevel provider bonuses and evaluate AR and bad debt Assist with annual audits, budgeting, and ad hoc financial projects and forecasts Collaborate with the Assistant Controller and report directly to the Director of Finance Contribute positively to team culture and support change management during organizational restructuring What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration (required) CPA certification (required) 7-15 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting Healthcare industry experience preferred Audit background strongly preferred Strong Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs; macros a plus) Experience with Sage and Power BI is a plus Analytical mindset with clear and effective communication of financial insights Adaptable, collaborative, and positive leadership style
