Assistant Director of Finance
Battle House Renaissance Hotel and Spa & Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel
Why Join Us?
At PCH Hotels & Resorts, we know that unforgettable guest experiences are built on more than world-class service — they’re supported by strong financial leadership. As Assistant Director of Finance, you’ll be more than a numbers expert; you’ll be a strategic partner helping to shape the success of our properties. Here, you’ll collaborate with an engaged leadership team, thrive in a culture that values innovation and integrity, and grow your career in the dynamic environment of a premier hotel and resort management company.
How You Will Make An Impact:
- Serve as the key partner to the Director of Finance in driving financial performance, forecasting, and reporting.
- Lead and mentor accounting teams, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls.
- Analyze variances and trends, deliver actionable insights to property leadership, and influence budget decisions.
- Oversee audit readiness, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Champion process improvements and systems enhancements to scale operations as we grow.
What You Bring / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s or CPA preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience in hospitality, resorts, or a closely related field.
- Proven leadership skills and experience managing small to mid-sized finance teams.
- Strong analytical mindset: comfortable building forecasts, variance analyses, and financial models.
- Excellent communication skills — able to present insights to non-finance partners clearly.
- Strong overall technical skills and the ability to adapt to new platforms/systems quickly, and Excel at an advanced level.
- Strong integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Why You’ll Love Working Here:
- Growth & Development: We invest in ongoing training, mentorship, and support to help you reach your professional goals.
- Vibrant Culture: Join a diverse and dynamic team — where voices are heard, ideas are welcomed, and improvements are encouraged.
- Great Perks: Competitive compensation, robust benefits package, extensive staff discounts (including worldwide Marriott discounts), and much more!
- Impact & Ownership: You’ll have real influence — your work will affect both property strategy and guest experience.
If you’re excited by the idea of being more than just a numbers person — impacting company performance, mentoring a team, and driving growth — we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter telling us how you’ve made an impact in finance in the hospitality sector.
