About the Position The Assistant Director of Advancement Services supports the College’s fundraising and alumni engagement initiatives. Working within the Advancement Services team and reporting to the Director of Advancement Services, this position helps drive data-informed decision making, provides critical prospect research and management, and assists with gift processing and reporting. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive prospect research profiles and reports to identify and cultivate potential donors for fundraising and engagement efforts Maintain the prospect management system to track engagement activities and pipeline development Analyze donor patterns and behaviors to identify new giving opportunities Provide strategic recommendations for donor outreach based on research findings Generate regular and ad hoc reports to support fundraising initiatives and strategic decision-making Maintain data integrity within advancement systems and implement regular updates Prepare and review gift documentation to support the development team Maintain proficiency in gift processing functions to provide coverage during high-volume periods Support the implementation of new technologies and process improvements Participates in events, such as Alumni Weekend and Homecoming, as needed Other duties as assigned

Knowledge of Ellucian CRM Advance and Anthology Encompass (formerly iModules) is preferred. • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and prepare comprehensive reports • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Problem-solving skills that demonstrate competencies in logic, creativity, and initiative-taking • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects concurrently with changing priorities while still meeting deadlines • Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information Supervision Required/Given: • Reports directly to the Director of Advancement Services • Works collaboratively with development officers and other advancement team members • Interacts with donors, alumni, and various internal departments Special Instructions to Applicants: Compensation will be competitive and aligned with the candidate’s experience and expertise.
