Job Description

The Office of Admissions seeks an assistant director to join the field events and domestic recruitment team. This position will assist with the planning, organization and execution of domestic recruitment initiatives both on and off-campus, including but not limited to counselor programming, alumni initiatives, and national yield events. The assistant director will also act as a thought partner and leader in the development of strategic recruitment initiatives.

This position will manage a recruitment/travel territory and will be expected to travel domestically for approximately 4-5 weeks in the fall and 2-3 weeks in the spring. This position will be responsible for evaluating and recommending applicants for admission. As a representative of Syracuse University, the assistant director will contribute to identifying, attracting, and enrolling a talented and diverse student body.
