Job Overview The Assistant Director, Graduate & Executive Degree Programs Admissions, supports all activities related to the smooth and effective recruitment and enrollment of incoming students for our graduate and executive degree programs, in particular the Master of Science in Management program. The Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions is responsible for all aspects of recruiting outreach, including answering emails, telephone calls, and walk-in inquiries for the graduate and executive degree programs. He/she/they will implement all procedures for recruiting outreach and follow-up with prospects, as well as engaging, cultivating, and managing the recruiting pipeline. In addition, the Assistant Director of Recruitment and Admissions will work with the Director to identify opportunities to maximize recruitment for the Master of Science in Management program. Working with the Director, he/she/they will plan recruiting events such as on and off-campus information sessions, online information sessions, and occasionally travel to represent McDonough at recruiting events and fairs. Responsibilities Communicate via email, phone, and in-person with prospective Master of Science in Management students Cultivate and manage the recruitment pipeline for the Master of Science in Management program Plan and host recruitment events Create and execute email and other marketing automation Requirements and Qualifications Bachelor's degree required At least 3-5 years' experience within a corporate or university setting required Extremely strong interpersonal abilities and strong team orientation required Substantial working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is required Preferred Qualifications Experience in higher education admissions is strongly preferred Marketing and events related experience is highly desirable Comfort with working in Excel and analyzing data is a plus Prior exposure to marketing tasks is a plus Georgetown University is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
