Grounded in trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and family systems work, our Kendall-based team provides culturally responsive and evidence-based treatment in a collaborative, supportive setting.Role SummaryWe are seeking a bilingual Assistant Clinical Director to join our clinical team in Kendall. This position is ideal for a licensed clinician with strong experience working with teens and families, and a passion for collaboration, leadership, and clinical excellence. The Assistant Clinical Director will carry a small caseload, support on documentation auditing, help guide our family therapy offerings, and provide leadership and support to other team members.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents and caregivers enrolled in PHP/IOPLead family engagement efforts, including family sessions, parent support groups, and multi-family workshopsMaintain a small clinical caseload and step in to support primary therapists when neededServe as a clinical resource for the team, offering informal mentorship and guidanceCollaborate with the Clinical Director to enhance and evolve family therapy programmingAttend and contribute to clinical team meetings, case reviews, and quality assurance effortsAssist with training and supporting interns or early-career clinicians (if qualified)Ensure timely and accurate documentation of all clinical servicesParticipate in community presentations, outreach efforts, and professional development activities as neededQualificationsRequired:Active Florida licensure as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, Psy.D., or Ph.D.Bilingual in Spanish and EnglishAt least 2 years post-licensure experience working with adolescents and familiesStrong clinical skills in family systems, trauma-informed care, and adolescent developmentAbility to lead therapy groups and engage parents and caregivers with empathy and professionalismHighly organized with strong documentation and communication habitsComfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentPreferred:Experience working in higher levels of care (PHP, IOP, RTC, inpatient)Experience supervising or mentoring clinical internsWhy Join AWA?At AWA, we believe in the power of connection, family healing, and showing up with heart.
