Automotive Assembler

Join a team that specializes in providing diverse truck bodies tailored for various industries and applications. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for mounting and installing a variety of truck bodies, including service bodies, flatbeds, contractor bodies, dump bodies, and work masters onto chassis. Your role is crucial in ensuring these installations are secure and function properly on vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Mount service bodies on trucks.
• Install various truck bodies.
• Utilize grinders, welders, bandsaws, hoists, and air saws.
• Work with metal parts and assemblies.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly, using hand tools, and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience in electrical wiring and installation.
• Ability to repair and install components effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior truck experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience as a service body mounter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in basic math calculations.
• Familiarity with hand, pneumatic, and power tools.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with machining tools such as micrometers and calipers is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols in a shop environment.
• Forklift operation skills are a plus.

Work Environment

Work from 6AM to 2:30PM in a shop environment, utilizing a variety of tools and equipment to perform your duties efficiently and safely.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
