Red Games Co. is an innovative game development studio based in Salt Lake City, UT with over 10 years experience developing original IP and games in partnership with the world's leading toy and entertainment companies, including LEGO, Hasbro, and Crayola. We are looking for a highly adaptive, creative and inspiring hands-on Art Director to be an integral part of our design team. The ideal candidate will be thoughtful, have strong design and leadership sensibilities, and will enjoy the balance of being both a hands-on designer and strategic leader. Roles and Responsibilities:Exceptional design abilities, with skill sets across:Visual designIllustrationUIComposition and layoutTypographyGraphic designLogos and buttonsColor theoryClearly communicate concepts and designs through sketches, high fidelity comps, and prototypes to various stakeholdersGuide cross-functional design teams (concept, UI, 3D, animation, etc.) from ideation through executionIntegrate UI into Unity, working closely with engineers to ensure artwork is accurate across gameplayLeverage user research and analytics to resolve and optimize usability and/or customer experience issuesPromote the continuous improvement of design tools and processes, focused on creativity and innovationEnsure compliance with company policies & procedures, and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrityRequirements: 7+ year's work experience with a focus on game design, with experience across product design, user interface, and graphic designExtensive experience communicating creative concepts to clients, stakeholders, and senior leadershipExperience providing creative guidance and leadership to cross-functional teamsEnthusiasm for an iterative design process, inspired by group critiquePositive leader and team playerPassionate about games!Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Red Games Co. does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this timeRed Games Co. is an equal opportunity employer.
