Our team at Aquent is seeking a talented and experienced Art Director (Experiential) to support our Experiential Marketing Agency client. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating innovative and impactful visual concepts for large-scale events - conferences, trade shows, environmental installations, etc. This role requires a strong understanding of both print and digital media, as well as the ability to seamlessly integrate them into cohesive experiences. The role can be fully remote or hybrid in NYC or Boston, with approximately 30 hours per week from October to March. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop creative concepts and approaches. Generate original design concepts and oversee projects from inception to execution. Develop compelling visual narratives aligned with project briefs. Create event/theme identity systems incorporating color, typography, and imagery. Develop storyboards to visualize experiences and content flow. Select props and plants to enhance event environments. Provide art direction to Graphic Designers. Coordinate design projects with creative project managers, event producers, and digital producers. Manage design assets and approvals through Click Up. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience as an Art Director with a strong portfolio. Expert knowledge of print and digital design principles and production processes. Ability to develop compelling visual concepts. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite). A passion for creating immersive and unforgettable experiences. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $50 to $56 an hour.
