Reporting to the Executive Director of Member Experience, the Aquatics Director leads all aquatic programming at the Nashua branch. You’ll provide supervision, vision, and hands-on leadership—teaching, lifeguarding, and managing with purpose. You’ll build a team, support members on their wellness journeys, and ensure a safe, high-quality aquatic experience. Age 21+ Current certifications (or obtained within 90 days) CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Basic First Aid YMCA or Red Cross Lifeguard & Instructor YMCA Swim Lesson Instructor Pool Operator Certification Oxygen Administration Ability to lead and model safety and service in an aquatic environment Desire and commitment to pursue YMCA Leadership Certification Demonstrated swim and rescue competencies
