Vale Group has partnered with an aviation company based in Orlando, FL , actively seeking a Director of Maintenance Operations to support their 24/7 aircraft operations. This onsite opportunity offers a salary of up to $150,000 annually, based on experience. Ideal candidates will bring deep expertise in managing aircraft maintenance teams for widebody aircrafts particularly Boeing and Airbus models, ensuring operational readiness, avoiding AOG, and driving regulatory compliance in high-pressure environments. Experience with AMOS (Aircraft Maintenance and Operational Software) is a plus.

Due to growth, there are multiple opportunities for this role with AM, PM or Evening shift available.

**Please note this opportunity does not offer bonus**

Requirements of the Director of Maintenance Operations :

8–10 years of experience returning aircraft to service (having evolved from Maintenance Controller/A&P, etc.) 5+ years in a leadership/managerial role within aircraft maintenance FAA A&P Certification required (Airframe & Powerplant) Strong knowledge of FAA Parts 91 and 121 regulatory compliance Direct experience with Airbus A330 and Boeing 747-400 aircrafts Experience with Boeing 777 aircraft (preferred) Familiarity with AMOS (Aircraft Maintenance and Operational Software) preferred Experience leading multi-tiered teams

Responsibilities of the Director of Maintenance Operations :

Oversee and manage a 24/7 maintenance control operation Ensure all maintenance discrepancies are reviewed, documented, and resolved timely Facilitate coordination between Maintenance Control, SOC (Systems Operations Control), and other operational teams Monitor technical performance, ensure proper routing of aircraft for required maintenance Ensure adherence to CFR (Code of Federal Regulations), company policies, and DMI/MISR/SDR reporting requirements Lead and collaborate with a team of 15-20 Participate in safety programs (SMS), audits, and daily operational calls Maintain operational readiness of the fleet and improve maintenance efficiency
