Position Summary:

The Annuity National Accounts Director will be responsible for business development and relationship management efforts across broker-dealers, IMOs, and RIAs. This role will advance NexPoint’s annuity platform, strengthen strategic partnerships, and accelerate distribution growth. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in annuity distribution and a well-established industry network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a national account strategy aligned with firm-wide distribution objectives
- Build, strengthen, and expand relationships with senior executives and gatekeepers at national and regional firms.
- Support clients with day-to-day account management and client servicing.
- Collaborate with regional directors, internal wholesalers, marketing, and other teams across the organization to deliver sales growth and enhance client engagement.
- Represent the firm at national conferences, roadshows, and strategic meetings to enhance visibility and drive adoption.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of NexPoint’s full suite of investment solutions and global investment views.
- Monitor and report on account activity, performance, and sales metrics using CRM and analytics tools.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in annuity account management, with proven success driving results across top-tier platforms.
- Deep knowledge of annuity products, industry dynamics, and financial services.
- Demonstrated track record of investment sales success, supported by a strong network of industry relationships.
- Bachelor's degree required
- FINRA Series 7, 63 licenses required
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
