Were searching for a dynamic and energetic Director to lead our After School Program for the 2025-2026 academic year at Manchester Elementary School in Manchester Center, VT. As the Director, youll take the lead in overseeing all aspects of operations at the Healthy Kids Program Site.

JOB STATUS: Part-Time, Non-Exempt SCHEDULE: 2:45 PM 5:30 PM PAY: $18.00 $20.00 per hour

WHAT YOULL DO:

Champion Compliance: Make sure our program and staff align with state regulations, Healthy Kids policies, and the expectations of our host school. Create Joyful Learning: Lead fun, hands-on activities using the Healthy Kids Curriculum think fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and more. Homework time? Youll be the go-to homework helper! Lead Like a Pro: Handle day-to-day management tasks like accurate attendance, registration, and making sure staffing meets program needs to ensure smooth operations. Stay Connected: Keep families informed and engaged through ongoing communication via the Playground App. Be a Team Player: Stay in regular contact with your direct supervisor, sharing updates and addressing issues as they arise. Strong teamwork helps us deliver exceptional care, build a positive workplace culture, and solve problems proactively.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE<BR> To qualify as a Director, you must:

Be at least 18 years old Hold a BA, BS, or Associates degree And meet one of the following criteria: 10+ months of direct experience working with school-age children Vermont On-the-Job Training Certificate Vermont Afterschool Professional Credential Vermont Program Director Credential Vermont Teaching License Master's Degree in a youth-related field
