Role Overview

The Advocacy & Partnerships Director is a true social expert & an inspiration to the Community x SEEN team. You will take senior, strategic responsibility for the Community x SEEN production, focusing on excellent product delivery, product growth and profitability. You will be an industry leading networker across the US & Canada beauty landscape. You are a true leader, innovative thinker, strategist, consultant and mentor who thrives to achieve brilliant results through your team and foster their growth.

  • Senior, strategic responsibility for Community x SEEN product, services and client network – focusing on growth, efficiency & profitability

  • Manage division resource effectively against this portfolio
  • Demonstrate ability to retain ‘heritage’ clients and grow client network and product services in line with annual business target
  • Showcase creative and commercial leadership of IMC practices, through the Community x SEEN product and in collaboration with the group
  • Leadership role/key player in the new business drive, focused on conversion of influencer marketing services and CXS campaigns
  • SEEN Group ambassador – hero complete Community x SEEN offering & demonstrate ability to cross-sell
  • Day-to-day team leadership, strategic counsel, quality control & trouble‑shooter

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead CXS client relationships to nurture a loyal network of brand collaborators, through regular communication, in person meetings and client entertainment
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of existing client needs and harness expertise to identify opportunities for new client conversion, to support business development and business commercials – CXS services and influencer marketing services
  • Demonstrate data curious mindset to constantly evaluate best return on investment KPIs to support existing clients and attract new client opportunities
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to uphold the integrity of CXS’ value, to successfully deliver cost effective campaigns for both the client and business
  • Demonstrate specialism to clients through social expertise and championing of SEEN Group’s IMC intelligence – in collaboration with the broader SEEN Group business
  • Continually seek out opportunities to raise CXS profile and industry reputation, through attendance at regular industry events and through PR opportunities in trade, business and consumer outlets
  • Lead always on social upskilling of CXS team and broader SEEN Group team, to manifest services and opportunities for clients in the social/influencer marketing space
  • Continually identify opportunities to better CXS services and onward vision, to create the best opportunities for global beauty brands and the marketers behind them
  • Represent SEEN Group’s values and ‘be the business the beauty world wants to work with’ proposition, to inspire team and clients

Leadership

  • Provide strong leadership, directing and inspiring team members to accomplish desired goals, and collaborate effectively
  • Demonstrate strong team management capabilities to support career development and team job satisfaction
  • Demonstrate ability to optimize internal services and internal resources
  • Demonstrate business seniority amongst the senior team and business leads (Senior Leadership Team in both UK and US)

  • Deliver added value thinking – pro‑active ideas, beyond scope to build CXS credibility and remit

Skillset

  • IMC expertise with proven experience of managing influencer paid partnerships and campaigns and a solid intermediate, with a clear understanding and experience of influencer and content marketing
  • Excellent understanding of social channels and up to date intelligence
  • Strong capabilities in content creation to support content needs across CXS channels and to support constant and active social channel learning
  • Strong proven relationships across networks and channels, from agents, to talent to awareness and authority of the who’s who in global influence and advocacy within beauty and the wellness categories
  • Strong strategic thinker, with a visionary skill set to successfully manage and champion the aspirations of the Community x SEEN product
  • An efficient, organized team player with the ability to multi‑task across projects and effectively manage clients, teams, workflows and varying stakeholder levels, to deliver projects that meet client and internal expectations of excellence in terms of project management, service delivery and campaign execution
  • A team integrator with the ability to foster a culture of strong collaboration across internal functions to deliver excellence and demonstrate empathy and respect for coworkers and integrated functions in all working relationships
  • Able to work under pressure and autonomously at times an agile, hands‑on, efficient approach to day to day management of all projects, teams and workloads
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, well networked and familiar with all key agents and digital talents across channels and categories
