You will be the Administrative Assistant to the Site Director for our Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team in Chelmsford, MA. Our Chelmsford facility is a leading hub for innovation in microelectronics, supporting critical aerospace and defense programs that safeguard national security and advance the industry.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Administrative Assistant to the Site Director, you will provide primary executive administrative support to the Site Director and secondary support to nearby department heads as required.

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide executive administrative support to the Site Director and secondary support to nearby department heads

Help plan, coordinate, and execute multiple site events, including meal catering coordination and expenses (VIP visits, customer visits, site events, etc.)

Coordinate schedules, arrange meetings, conferences, and travel

Compose reports, correspondence, and memorandums; reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage

Answer questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures

May provide guidance and direction, as needed, to lower-level administrative assistants and other clerical employees

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks and 3 Years of experience

Ability to obtain an Interim Secret clearance prior to start, which requires U.S. citizenship

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
