Our agency client is looking for an Account Director with experience working with med comms or medical devices at an advertising agency; ideally looking for 7+ years' of experience--there are multiple roles open and they are 6+ months to start.

In this role you will: Work closely with the Client’s Group Account Director (GAD) and Strategic Account Management Department Leaders to support business with the following: Account Management: Oversee and ensure the Client’s team is responding to Client customers’ requests and questions in a timely and accurate manner Conduct final review/sign-off on Client’s deliverables for Client customers for accuracy and completion prior to delivery to Client customers and/or project execution Team Management Identify ways to support the growth and development of Client’s junior team as they take on increased account responsibilities Ownership of devising a plan for the Client’s team to cover calls and live meetings with Client customers, ensuring proper coverage and cross-functional participation Provide and receive feedback in a productive, professional, and timely manner Monitor billable rates to ensure effective Client’s team time management Support the Client’s team in preparing scopes of work and job budgeting Address areas of inefficiency and facilitate discussions with Client’s team and/or Client customers to prevent overages, write-offs, or inefficiencies Closely track and proactively communicate changes in revenue and/or Client’s team capacity to leadership Strategy and Business Growth Communicate objectives of Client customers to the Client’s team and ensure work aligns to such objectives; provide feedback to Client’s team in a constructive and motivating manner when gaps in understanding of strategy and deliverables of Client customers is observed Work closely with the Client’s content team to review deliverables – i.e., ensure objectives and product strategy of Client customers are met, visuals help convey the story, story flow is clear, MLR feedback is consistently incorporated Ensure Client’s team is “connecting the dots” between different projects so that information and feedback is being filtered into all projects for quality and consistency Become an expert in business of Client customers by staying abreast of developments in Client customers’ products, competitors, industry landscape, and therapeutic categories; leverage knowledge and insights to propose recommendations to Client’s team.
