The role The  Account Director  serves as a key client partner and marketing services steward, entrusted with aligning the vision and delivery of services across key accounts. They excel at cultivating and expanding client relationships and are regarded as a trusted advisor. They bring an influential leadership style and the ability to facilitate the development of senior-level client connections. The holistic success of business profitability and client satisfaction rests in their capable hands. The Account Director serves as a guiding force and leader to internal, multidisciplinary teams. This role often operates at a portfolio level, taking ownership of both revenue and client satisfaction, leading teams to capitalize on significant growth opportunities. What you'll do Strategic Direction: Provide astute strategic direction for clients, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Integrated Experience: Track record of leading all areas of marketing delivery from performance media, digital production, content production etc. Client Relationships: Cultivate and nurture relationships with clients to guarantee the seamless delivery of projects. Team Leadership: Lead both internal and client teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. Contribute to overall development of the Client Services department. Financial Management: Oversee the financial aspects of account revenue and profitability, ensuring fiscal responsibility. Organic Growth: Drive organic growth within accounts by identifying and capitalizing on opportunities. Metrics Delivery: Provide comprehensive metrics on the quality of relationships and products delivered to accounts. Statement Of Work (SOW) Management: Ensure all Statements of Work are meticulously drafted, accurately documented, and effectively implemented. Collaboration: Foster collaborative relationships with other Account Directors, Account Team members, and cross-functional teams. Mentorship and Coaching: Mentor and coach team members, demonstrating motivational leadership across project teams. Best Practices: Define and implement best practices at the business unit level, contributing to overall excellence in the Client Services department.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED: Experience: 6-10 years of proven Account Management experience in agencies specializing in digital marketing, consulting, user experience, and/or product design. Experience working with portfolio clients, delivering annual services revenues in excess of $5MM each. Business Agility: Ability to react quickly, assess, and implement solutions. Advanced negotiation, communication, writing, and organization skills with an outstanding attention to detail. Leadership: Skills motivating and guiding distributed teams. Project Management: Proficient in managing integrated accounts, with fluency in digital areas from media, production, and product. The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $110,000 to $145,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
