Sole Athletic Director or Job Share (Extra Duty Position)
Coordinate all sports activities for the district.
Schedule all games
Coordinate transportation
Hire and schedule referees
Monitor games and maintain crowd control
Regularly communicate with coaches
Conduct regular coaches’ meetings
Coordinate purchasing of awards and equipment as necessary
Intervene with coaches, players, and parents when issues of concern arise
Distribute and maintain copies of appropriate forms such as insurance forms, parent permission forms and school policy information forms
Ensure that the district’s Extracurricular Activity policies are followed
Communicate with the school district and/or building principal to ensure fields, courts, grounds, and equipment are ready for scheduled sporting events and practices
Maintain ongoing communication with the building principal about the athletic program
Seek outside funding for athletic program to help offset equipment and transportation costs
Other duties as assigned by the school principal or designee
Reports to building principal and Administrator of Human Resources
