Zone Sales Director OBL- Shockwave (East) Join Johnson & Johnson’s MedTech team as a Zone Sales Director (OBL – Shockwave) and lead a regional sales force across the Eastern U.S. Your influence will shape the commercial success of cutting-edge office-based laboratory solutions.

Position Overview The Zone Sales Director for OBL will lead and develop a regional sales team to deliver best-in-class performance for revenue and growth. Responsible for building and managing the sales force within the assigned geographic area and developing tactical and operational sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Essential Job Functions
Build, oversee, and drive a team of OBL Territory Managers to maximize sales revenues and exceed sales goals.
Forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly sales revenue streams accurate.
Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans and strategies.
Develop specific revenue plans for sales teams to ensure growth in all targeted products/services.
Provide coaching, advice, support, and motivation to help individuals meet and exceed their defined sales objectives.
Train sales representatives to structure deals that exceed revenue expectations.
Serve as an escalation point for issues beyond team authority; resolve conflicts as necessary.
Perform sales activities for the assigned geographic area to achieve or exceed revenue objectives.
Develop and test new sales strategies and tactics, replicating those most successful.
Keep abreast of market dynamics in the OBL space and disseminate new product and industry knowledge to the team.
Work closely with Marketing on go-to-market strategies and see them through to successful completion.
Participate in sales team meetings, management meetings, and quarterly business reviews.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Proven track record of leading sales in the medical or disposable device markets.
5+ years of demonstrated success leading and managing a sales team and exceeding quotas.
Experience leading office-based lab teams is highly desirable.
Direct medical device experience, particularly in peripheral vascular product sales and support.
Knowledge of Shockwave Medical products and technology is a plus.
Thorough understanding of the office-based lab environment and its operational dynamics.
Strong sales, recruiting, leadership, organization, planning, and prioritization skills.
Results oriented with multiple years of meeting or exceeding quota while introducing innovative products to market.
Good interpersonal skills to align and foster positive working relationships across the organization (internal and external).
Ability to develop and critically analyze a sales pipeline and forecast.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel within the assigned geographic area as needed (≥ 50% of the time).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Must not be debarred by FDA for work in any Medical Device business.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.
Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8-hour day) may be required.
Anticipated base pay range: $300,000 – $400,000.
