Schedule:  Mon - Fro 9 am - 5 pm Salary: $ 61,500 / yr The Service Enhanced Access Center (SEAC) Program Director directs the operation of two SEAC settings in which youth and young adults (YYA) with lived experience of mental health conditions choose to join as participants and work collaboratively on their recovery goals along with Young Adult Peer Mentor (YAPM), Peer Leadership Coordinators (PLC) or Transition to Independence (TIP) staff. The SEAC Program Direct provides leadership that creates the culture of a unified network of recover-oriented supports and activities and establishes a low barrier for access to supports, with a particular emphasis on effective engagement using Motivational Interviewing techniques. Additionally, the Program Director provides leadership and consultation to participants and staff and strives to meet high quality standards and provide excellent value to participants. The Program Director will provide outreach to various stakeholders in the community to educate them about SEAC services and supports including schools, social service providers state agencies, families, and YYA including those from divers cultures, backgrounds or who may be struggling with their sexual or gender identity. Job Duties and Responsibilities The essential job duties/responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the information listed below: Ensures the provision of Wraparound and TIP to fidelity standards Ensures the coordination of Wraparound and TIP on behalf of YYA, as well as with other supports/services provided by the SEACs Oversees day to day operation of two SEAC settings, including scheduling and that YYA are informed and directed programming is in place Collaborates on the development of new initiative, including peer support/educational/social activities with the Leadership Council, Young Peer Mentors and the YYA members of the SEAC Ensures staff support YYA to communicate their strengths, hopes, dreams, and goals effectively Collaborates with the YYA representatives and Peer staff to organize educational forums such as Gathering and Inspiring Future Talent and First Episode Psychosis family and YYA education Directly supervises the Peer Leadership Coordinators, Young Adult Peer Mentors and SEAC TIP facilitators. Provides direction, training, and coaching for all services and if applicable, volunteers Manages staff performance, conduct staff meetings and supervision at SEAC sites Ensures evidence-based practices are used and fidelity is measured so that participants receive services proven effective through research Coordinates with Clinical Director to provide screening for substance misuse and referral to services; using the Screen, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) assessment as well as the CRAFFT2 Tool Ensures staff use 5A's Model for smoking/vaping assessments to support smoking cessation Fosters teamwork and leadership in both staff and YYA served by the SEAC Manages program quality improvement processes and strives to achieve yearly programmatic goals and objectives. Typical Requirements: A minimum of 3 years' experience in progressively responsible human services positions required. Two or more years of supervisory experience preferred. Preference given to bilingual/bicultural applicants, applicants who identify as Black, Indigenous, Person of Color (BIPOC), LGBTQ+, and applicants with personal lived experience of psychiatric and/or substance use conditions. Preferred /Required Education: A Bachelor's degree in the social sciences, rehabilitation, and/or education fields ( special education, psychology, social work) is required. A Master's degree in a social sciences, rehabilitation, public health, and/or education fields (, special education, psychology, social work) is preferred. Strong preference for applicants with grant-writing experience. ]Driving Requirements: Driving is a requirement for this position using either a Vinfen van or personal vehicle. If using a personal vehicle, you must possess and maintain adequate insurance as well as maintain a safe driving record which is subject to annual checks. A valid driver's license must be presented at the time of employment. Incumbents must be at least 21 years of age, have maintained a valid US driver's license for at least one year, and must be able to pass a driver's screening background check. Physical Effort: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb as this is a very physically active position. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer. Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways. Ability to assist clients with tasks of daily living. Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with clients, staff, and external representatives. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. For positions in day programs or group residences, the ability to assist in routine living activities including cleaning, meal preparation, vacuuming, shoveling, and grocery shopping Required Certifications: CPR required within two weeks of hire First Aid required within two weeks of hire NET required Training in TIP Core Competencies within 3 months of hire
