This role involves engaging with athletes, families, and external stakeholders, leading coaching staff, and overseeing a range of volleyball programs from learn-to-play camps to nationally competitive teams. The position is ideal for someone with high-level playing or coaching experience committed to youth development through sports.The club has expanded significantly, with growth in teams and athletes, and notable achievements at national competitions. As the Volleyball Club & Program Director, you will lead program development, coaching, and organizational management, including recruiting coaches, managing private lessons, and liaising with marketing and operations teams.Primary ResponsibilitiesDevelop CPVB into the region's leading volleyball programCreate volleyball curricula and coaching philosophiesDesign youth volleyball programming for all levelsCollaborate on club strategy and youth-to-club pipeline developmentSupport coach development and foster positive team cultureConduct performance reviews for coaching staffCoachingServe as head coach for one national and one regional teamCoordinate all other teams and participate in competitionsOrganizationRecruit, hire, onboard, and retain coaching staffHandle parent and stakeholder inquiriesOversee private lessons and manage payrollCoordinate with marketing for sales and brandingPerform additional duties as assignedAdditional DetailsFull-Time, weekdays and weekends, travel requiredStart ASAPSalary: $60,000-$75,000/year, plus bonus and private instruction earning potentialQualificationsAt least two years coaching or athletic admin experienceInterest/experience in youth sportsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProven team-building successOrganized, analytical, problem solverPositive attitude and team playerBenefitsMedical, dental, vision insurance401(k)Club membership and discountsSubsidized daycare (availability-dependent)Paid vacation and sick leaveThis position is based at Chelsea Piers Athletic Club, Stamford, CTChelsea Piers is an Equal Opportunity Employer #J-18808-Ljbffr
