In this leadership role, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive, accessible, and visually compelling experiences that drive engagement and trust with our clients across web, email, mobile, social, multimedia and paid media campaigns. The ideal candidate brings a blend of creative excellence, forward thinking digital design, and a deep understanding of user behavior and engagement within financial services. You will collaborate with marketing, product, sales, technology, digital agencies, offshore resources and compliance teams to translate business goals and customer needs into smart, effective digital visual experiences. What you will do: Define and lead the end-to-end digital design strategy across web, email, mobile, social, multimedia and paid media campaigns.
Champion user-centered design principles, ensuring usability, accessibility, and responsiveness are core to all digital experiences.
Translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging, and user-friendly interfaces.
Collaborate closely with digital team, brand team, agencies, and marketers to align creative vision with functionality and performance goals.
Partner with compliance and legal to maintain regulatory standards without compromising user experience.
Oversee the development and maintenance of a scalable digital design eco-system that supports brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Use data, customer feedback, and A/B testing to continuously optimize digital experiences and inform future design direction.
Stay informed on emerging digital design trends, fintech innovations, and best practices within financial services.
Partner with digital agencies to leverage brand standards to define and document digital style guides web, email, mobile, social, multimedia and paid media campaigns.
Qualities you should have: 12+ years of digital design experience, with at least 5 years in a senior UI/UX/CX and creative leadership role.
Proven track record of delivering elegant, effective, and user-centric digital solutions within financial services, fintech, or similarly regulated industries.
Strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, design leadership, and successful product launches and website redesigns.
Expert-level proficiency in tools such as Creatopy, Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, and other UX/UI prototyping tools.
Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), responsive design, and interaction design.
Experience collaborating with front-end developers, content strategists, and data analysts.
Strong communication and presentation skills; able to articulate design perspective and decisions to executive stakeholders.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Digital Media, or related field.
Experience with financial planning, asset/wealth management, insurance, or B2B financial services.
Familiarity with agile workflows, such as Jira, Monday.com, and design handoff best practices.
Knowledge of capabilities of JavaScript/HTML/CSS (not required for coding, but for design feasibility).
Base Salary range: $175,000 - $220,000. In addition, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
