Medical Facilities of America is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Traveling Director of Nursing in the Western North Carolina area including Charlotte & Greensboro. As a Traveling DON, you'll provide interim leadership and support as needed at healthcare centers within our network. This role is ideal for a flexible, dedicated professional who thrives in diverse environments. Your guidance and support will be pivotal in maintaining our standards of excellence and enhancing the overall patient experience.What we offerCompetitive pay commensurate with experience.Excellent Health Benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision)401(k), Flexible Spending Account, & Other Elective Benefits AvailablePaid Time Off (PTO)Career Growth OpportunitiesWhat you'll doTravel to centers as needed to provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery.Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental and center goals and objectives.Monitor patient care delivery and clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including state and federal regulations.Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement.Work closely with the center's Director of Human Resources to recruit and onboard nursing staff.Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and safety.Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.What you needActive, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.Minimum 3 - 5 years of DON or nursing leadership experience.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practice and patient care.Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Highly organized and detail oriented.If you're looking to join an outstanding team of professionals where every day you can make a sincere difference in someone's life, we're looking for you!
