Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Director of Nursing for skilled nursing facility • Provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations • Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures • Manage nursing staff scheduling and assignments • Conduct staff evaluations and performance reviews • Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members • Oversee quality assurance and improvement initiatives • Maintain current nursing licensure and certifications • Work day shift schedule from 08:00 to 16:30 • Participate in regulatory surveys and inspections • Manage nursing department budget and resources • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and skill mix • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff

Job Requirements:

Active, unencumbered license in NM

Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty

Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements

Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)

Other Required Documentation:

Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)

Two current clinical references

State-required professional license

Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)

TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)

Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)

Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations

Must pass background check and drug screening
