Overview Temporary Director of Purchasing, Receiving and Inventory Control - Hotel del Coronado, Curio Collection by Hilton. This temporary assignment ends at the end of 2025. Reports to the Controller and/or Director of Finance. The primary role is to manage all receiving and control all inventory at the property. Responsibilities Plan, organize, direct and control all receiving and inventory functions at the property. Coordinate delivery and receiving with all hotel vendors. Manage off-site warehouse storage and inventory. Primary responsibility for the receiving team of approximately 20 team members. Ensure compliance with corporate and regional operating procedures including participation in HSM purchasing programs. Work with the Executive Chef and Director of F&B to ensure compliance with all purchasing, receiving and inventory control processes and procedures. Primary responsibility for managing and organizing the hotel main loading dock. Supportive Functions Coordinate with managers and department heads for proper storage of inventory and equipment. Coordinate, plan and conduct monthly and quarterly inventories of food, beverage and retail storage and stock rooms. Ensure a strong control environment is in place for requisitioning and managing hotel inventory. Qualifications Required Qualifications Minimum Education: High School Graduate Minimum Years of Experience: 4 Management Experience: Managerial and Supervisory experience required.
