Weaver is looking for talented tax leaders at the Senior Manager or Director level to join our growing firm. We serve a variety of tax-exempt and non-profit clients across healthcare, education, and community outreach, among others, ranging from large, national organizations to smaller local entities. Responsibilities Work closely with firm leadership and play a key role in business development and team development. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Required: CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm, with a focus on tax-exempt and non-profit entities (including Forms 990, 990-EZ, 990-PF, and 990-T) Additional Qualifications (Preferred) Master’s degree in Accounting or related field Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff Strong relationship management and practice development skills Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients Compensation and Benefits At Weaver, compensation ranges are estimated between $141,000 and $290,000 for this role in the California, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York Metropolitan areas. Actual compensation is based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. Benefits include health (medical, dental, vision), disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. We offer flexible scheduled time off (STO), minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 recharge days. We also provide in-house CPE and a learning program covering technical improvement, practice development, and leadership training.
