The Marketing Director will serve as a forward-thinking partner for our restaurants creating and executing a marketing strategy and on-site appeal that attracts and engages customers. In this role, you will use your ability to plan, develop and execute marketing campaigns following strategic objectives to ensure local restaurant marketing and in restaurant merchandising drive desired objectives. This position will drive the enhancement of customers' in-restaurant shopping experience and provide our franchisees with the marketing, digital media, and online tools they need to build incremental sales. Top candidates will demonstrate exceptional communication skills, be self-managed, have strong time management skills, and have the ability to take a general concept and build out a business growth strategy and corresponding executional plans. Our marketing department offers the ability to work directly with local restaurants as well as corporate executives. Responsibilities: • Refine and communicate the vision and strategy for direct-to-customer merchandising opportunities. • Develop new merchandising extensions to drive strategic growth by harnessing insights and crafting merchandising strategies, including positioning, identity, signature touchpoints, and go-to-market plans. • Lead cross-functional team and agency partners in new product developments, including promotional and distribution strategies to optimize omnichannel engagement and build out full marketing kits for use by local restaurants. • Cast vision for revenue potential and impact on customer loyalty; test approaches, refine the vision, and optimize approach. • Measure market impact for new products, customer feedback, and impact on revenue and margin targets as part of the business strategy. • Finalize current business plan (target customers, product and channel strategy, KPIs, proforma). • Establish Vendor Suite – determine needed partners, roles and navigate relationships to serve new business well. • Work in conjunction with Digital Marketing Manager to build out social media and digital application platforms. • Manage Operator relationship surrounding in-store product and promotion display. • Execute the broader marketing strategy at the local level, working with key stakeholders to drive brand engagement • Provide direction to Brand Merchandise Design for product lines needed, target customers, timing, deadlines, and collaborate with designers to recommend product line designs. • Provide direction to Promotional Design for print displays and collaborate with designers to determine promotional approach and adjustments. • Coordinate the design and logistics of all traditional print materials and POP needed for events and outreaches. Requirements: • 5+ years of Merchandising, eCommerce or Marketing experience • Experience leading merchandising-based projects in QSR restaurants preferred • Understanding of print and digital materials used in merchandising • Ability to think, innovate and communicate at both a strategic level and tactical level • People and project leadership either through direct reporting and/ or project-based work • Ability to collaborate and coordinate cross-functionally to inspire action, develop relationships and drive results • QSR experience preferred • 3+ Years of leadership experience required
