Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement growth-focused sales strategies for the Water, Food & Beverage, and Pharma markets, with strong emphasis on the U.S. market and alignment with corporate and global objectives.
Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to proactively adjust strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Performance Management: Deliver accurate forecasts, sales plans, and KPIs to meet or exceed sales targets while ensuring strategic alignment across business areas.
Customer Engagement: Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key customers, positioning EagleBurgmann as a trusted and innovative solution provider.
Strategic Negotiations: Lead high-level negotiations and influence strategic purchasing decisions, working cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutions and superior service.
People Leadership: Coach and develop direct reports in Germany, align teams with global sales goals, and foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
Talent & Development: Partner with HR to attract, develop, and retain top commercial talent while driving individual development plans and succession strategies.
Operational Excellence: Standardize sales processes, ensure CRM compliance, and lead commercial excellence initiatives focused on value selling and margin improvement.
Qualifications
Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
Sales Leadership Experience: 5–7 years of progressive leadership in industrial or manufacturing sales; ideally 10–15 years in B2B sales with exposure to water, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical process industries
Commercial & Strategic Execution: Proven success in driving commercial strategy, achieving sales targets, and managing complex, multi-segment portfolios.
Team & Regional Leadership: Experience leading regional/national sales teams, with a strong track record in coaching, development, and performance management.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with sealing solutions or industrial equipment markets is a strong asset.
Technical & Analytical Proficiency: Skilled in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), data analysis, pricing strategy, and sales forecasting.
Mobility & Travel: Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically to support customer engagement and business development efforts.
Core Competencies: Demonstrated strengths in strategic thinking, customer relationship building, financial acumen, cross-functional collaboration, people leadership, and navigating change.
